Shait Gombuj mosque

Mosque City Bagerhaat is about 60 kilometres of beach and the confluence of the Brahmaputra river, on the Ganges.

A lot of existing monuments of Khan Jahan Ali, undoubtedly the biggest and most luxurious brick mosque is Shait Gombuj in Bagerhat district, Bangladesh. The architectural value is outstanding  . UNESCO World Heritage Committee   autographed Bagerhat in the World Heritage list and it got the status of the second World Heritage site after Paharpur(City of Mosque) in Bangladesh .

Khan Jahan Ali was one of the most honored person In Bangladeshi history of Significant steps for Islam . As the pioneer of  Islam , he came from Delhi  & settled a Muslim colony . He was impressed by the elemental beauty of this domain & Expended the rest of the life there.  He constructed around three hundrade & sixty mosques , many fresh water tanks, & public constructions in a short time. Khan Jahan Ali mazhar is also a  famouse place in Bagerhat.
